Alright guys, my name is Wiguan and this is the first episode in this new channel that I call it game dev diary and in this episode I going to feature off on how I going to build my rig.
I will show why I will build a new system instead of using my existing iMac, and why I choose Nvidia graphic card and why DirectX and I will share my system specification as well as problems and challenges.
Maybe I’m just not so smart, but now I get it. I finally able to convert Ayame from just a 2D sprite into the interesting Live2D character. Well, at least for me that is interesting things to do.
Let’s see all from the video below.
It’s been a challenging week for me.
Fighting alone with emotional challenges and many other things that we call life.
But I’m still struggling, I’ll not be a quitter.
Even though this look meaningless but level design is not as easy as I thought. In my opinion it is easy to program a game mechanic than designing a level. At least for me since I’m not a designer in the first place.
Absolute Point Garden (WIP)
I made some progress.
I got the name. Musiristica.
I derive this word from music, musica, rising and the names of some beautiful woman on Earth. tongue
1. First rough idea for Musiristica
At first, I just want to make a game about idol daily live simulation. But then, I think it will be boring if there’s only one selling point that’s where the decision to add some actions shooting and killing coming from.
Basically, we fight with the music. smile
But there’s more to it. the idol daily live simulation will also running while on the border of the city are battle field where without the support from this idol, the war will never won.
Interesting? Read on! lol
Brainstorming For a Game Name
I’m about to commit into this project more seriously. smile
I will use version control system soon as well.
As for the documentation for the game, I decide to go digital all out. I’ll be using wiki pages instead of any documents. Like this it will also give more exposure to the game itself, and perhaps gain some fans even before the game is even published to a playable state. smile
